Lap Swim
Lap swim is held in the six-lane pool at various times during the week for adults only. Check the six lane pool schedule to plan your workouts in the pool.
Adult Swimming Lessons
It’s never too late to learn to swim, or to improve upon the swimming skills you already have. At the Y, we offer a variety of ways to do just that. Adults can participate in swimming lessons either by joining a group lesson at their level, or by signing up for private lessons.
Private Swim Lessons
For Private Lessons, please complete the private lesson registration form and submit it to the member relations office.

You can determine your level by using the chart below.
- Beginner – Non-swimmers learn fundamental water skills in the shallow end of the pool.
- Advanced Beginner – Develop confidence and efficiency with the front crawl and back stroke in all areas of the pool. Participants also begin to learn the basics of breaststroke.
- Intermediate – Build your stamina and technique for longer swims with the front crawl, back stroke, and breast stroke in addition skill instruction for flip turns and dives.

Masters Swimming
Masters Swimming is our adult swim group for people who are 18 and older. Training includes coached workouts for adult lap swimmers and the camaraderie of swimming with a group. It is also great for adults who are interested in competitive swimming, and for triathletes who want to maintain or improve their swimming fitness levels.
