Older one-week campers have the unique opportunity to choose different activities each day. Based on a list the group creates the first night, individual TYCers will choose from among 3 or 4 different activities on a customized schedule each morning and afternoon. It’s still Camp Echo, but it’s your Camp Echo. Evenings, TYCers will enjoy programs designed for this age group. TYCers will take a mid-week day trip to Craig’s Cruisers in Grand Rapids, where they will spend the afternoon with go-karts, laser-tag, or mini golf.
New for 2013: TYCers now have the opportunity to register for their preferred housing location for the week. Half the TYCers live in platform tents at Outpost and half live in village cabins. TYCers will need to register for either TYC – Outpost or TYC – Village to indicate where they have chosen to live. The entire group, regardless of living location, will continue to spend nearly all of their time together over the course of the week.
