With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the YMCA nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the nation’s health and well-being and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.
When you give to the YMCA, you help move people forward. Your generosity and partnership ensure that no child, family or adult is turned away from the YMCA due to an inability to pay. Last year, the McGaw YMCA provided over $1.43 million in financial aid to make our programs and services affordable to all.

The McGaw YMCA plays such an important role as a safe, caring place for youth, regardless of their ability to pay. Many future leaders of our community rely on scholarship support to participate in the programs of the YMCA and create memorable stories of their own. Now more than ever we need your charitable donations to help make that happen.
Here’s what your gift can do
- $1,000 Provides a month of preschool care, giving parents peace of mind at work.
- $600 Gives a first-time camper one week at Camp Echo.
- $350 Provides two weeks of day camp, so a child isn’t home unsupervised.
- $150 Gives a man seven nights in our Residence facility.
- $75 Provides a child eight weeks of swimming lessons.
