 The McGaw YMCA is just two blocks from the CTA Purple Line, the Metra North Line, and Pace and CTA buses in the heart of Evanston, in a charming residential neighborhood on a beautiful tree-lined street. At our Y you are only steps away from all the conveniences and attractions of downtown Evanston.

Rooms are available at convenient weekly rates for both long and short-term stays.
No security deposit, no credit check, no lease, and flexible move-in and move-out dates!
All rooms include:
- Fully furnished with bed, dresser, desk, closet
- Housekeeping service

- 49 rooms have sinks

Weekly room rates:
Room rates range from $127.00 to $153.50* per week depending on room size and features. Rooms are also available at a daily rate of $47.00*.
*Please note that fees quoted do not include taxes.
Application process:
To apply for residency, please visit McGaw YMCA during normal building hours and ask for an application at the front desk. After completing your application, please submit it to the residence office during the following hours:
Monday - Wednesday 3:00pm - 9:00pm
Thursday 3:00pm - 7:00pm
Friday 3:00pm - 9:00pm
Saturday - Sunday 1:00pm - 5:00pm
No application fee required!
Applicants will be asked to provide the following information:
- State I.D., Driver's License, or Passport
- Proof of income
- References
A criminal background check is required for all applicants.
