The Gift of Time
When you volunteer at the Y, you take an active role in bringing about meaningful, enduring change right in our own neighborhood.
If you want to share a passion, develop a skill, or just meet new friends, consider volunteering your time at the McGaw Y. You’ll be joining the nearly 1600 volunteers who contribute to the positive impact we have in this community.
How Do I Begin?
Complete the volunteer application and return to Michelle Janke, Events and Volunteer Manager, via email, fax, or in person at the McGaw YMCA. If you are a student (under 18 years old), group, company, or organization please read below before you submit your application.
- Students between the ages of 14 to 17 are welcome to volunteer at the Y. Students need to fill out the volunteer application above and complete the Student Reference Form. References can only be from a teacher, coach, or pastor.
