Babysitting Certification
If you’re ages 11 to 15 and want the skills and knowledge that will make you a sought-after babysitter, then this is the class for you. Successful completion of the course will earn you a Red Cross babysitting certification. What to bring: an infant-sized doll and a sack lunch.
CPR and AED for Adults and Children
Learn the valuable skills to save someone’s life in an emergency situation. Be prepared for any emergenc, including choking, breathing, and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants.
CPR and AED Challenge
These courses are designed for those who have already completed the full CPR/AED course who desire to re-certify.
First Aid
Prepare yourself with knowledge to care for people in emergency situations. Upon completing the class, you will be equipped to be the first responder in situations such as determining unconsciousness, treating injuries, preventing emergencies, and caring for victims of emergencies or sudden illness.

These courses are designed for those who have already completed the full First Aid course who desire to re-certify.
Lifeguard Training Pre-Test
The Lifeguard Training Pre-Test qualifies participants ages 15+ to take the lifeguard training course. The test consists of a 550-yard swim (8 lengths freestyle, 8 lengths breaststroke, 6 lengths combination); 10-pound brick retrieval and swim; and an underwater swim with ring retrieval.
Pool and Waterfront Lifeguard Training
This course, for ages 15+, prepares participants to be pool and waterfront lifeguards and provides American Red Cross certificates for First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Fee includes a pocket mask and book. Attendance at all sessions, completion of the lifeguard pretest (see description below), and a $50 non-refundable deposit are required to participate.
Lifeguard Challenge Courses
This course is for current lifeguards who have completed the latest revision of the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training course (2006) and need to be re-certified.
