Dance Around the World
Looking to enrich your child’s afternoon? Dance Around the World offers participants the ability to enhance their exploration of dance concepts in greater depth and further learn the art of dance as it is seen around the world.
After School Care/Activities
The hours after school are a critical period in the day for your kids. We understand that it’s difficult for working parents to be at home in the afternoons, so we’ve created a fun, friendly environment that they’ll look forward to every day.
School’s Out – After School and Holiday Care (Grades K-5)
Our staff will meet your children at school and accompany them on a bus or van to the Y, where we’ll engage them in constructive and fun activities until 6:15 pm. When you pick up, the homework is done and you have more time to just enjoy time with your kids in the evening.
Flexible Care for Working Parents
School’s Out meets on school days off and half days, so a change in school schedules doesn’t have to change your schedule. Our supervised van transport to our Y from any school in District 65 makes the program a seamless addition to your child’s afternoon. And our holiday program is offered on most days when District 65 is not in session. Children can be enrolled in a 5-day or 3-day per week program and our school break program.
After-School Activities and Enrichment
We offer small-group homework help every day after school, which frees up your family during your evening and weekend time together. But there’s a lot more to childhood than school. Through regular swim lessons, gym and playground activities, and discovery workshops for a variety of interests, kids learn the value of healthy living and develop their interests outside of class.
School Break Camps
Do you have to work, or just want to keep your kids engaged? We can help with that. The Y offers holiday camps to keep your kids safe and having fun with friends during the winter and spring breaks.
