McGaw YMCA Launches Signage & Wayfinding Project

The project aims to improve how visitors find their way around the 1000 Grove Street building.   EVANSTON, IL – McGaw YMCA is excited to announce the launch of a comprehensive Signage & Wayfinding project for its main building located at 1000 Grove Street. The project seeks to elevate the visitor experience, making it easier and more enjoyable to navigate the facility and access amenities, programs, and resources.  The project will span several years and focus on four key areas: interior signs and wayfinding, exterior signs and parking lots, donor recognition and heritage signs, and updating signs in the Men’s Residence following its renovation. The phased approach will streamline navigation within and around the building, better highlight the Y’s wide range of amenities, and strengthen the YMCA brand. McGaw YMCA Board Welcomes New Member

New board member Constance Wright was appointed at the February 13 Board Meeting. EVANSTON, IL – The McGaw YMCA is excited to introduce a new member joining its Board of Directors, highlighting the Y’s dedication to embracing the diverse talent and voices of Evanston’s dynamic community. Constance Wright, Esq., Assistant Dean of Academic Standing for Weinberg College at Northwestern University. Constance specializes in operationalizing policies and creating sustainable educational opportunities for underrepresented minority, first generation, and lower income student populations in college and professional programs. She is responsible for managing the College’s undergraduate standing and enrollment exception processes. Constance also develops student success initiatives designed to create equitable opportunities and outcomes for underrepresented undergraduate student populations. Constance has lecturer appointments at Loyola University School of Law and UIC School of Law. Most notably, she has worked with Minority Legal Education Resources, Inc since 2007 to help students excel in law
