The Active8 Healthy Weight Loss Program at McGaw is an 8-week program for Y members designed to inspire a healthier YOU. Everyone’s body works differently. That’s why there are no gimmicks and no restrictive approaches – just the tools you need to make the necessary changes to achieve your wellness goals.
Learn how to eat healthier, move more, and lose weight. Our trained facilitators will guide participants through a program that includes weekly weigh-ins, weekly workouts and healthy living workshops, personal training, individual nutrition coaching, and the encouragement of teammates to share in the journey. This program is virtual with in-person options.
Active8 Healthy Weight Loss Program Overview:
- Weekly group workout and healthy living workshop: Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m. (virtual)
- 4 x 45-minute personal training sessions (in-person or virtual)
- 60-minute nutrition consultation (in-person or virtual)
- 2 x 30-minute nutrition coach follow-up appointments (in-person or virtual)
- Weekly healthy living challenges, tips, and resources
- On-going group chat for accountability and instructor support
- T-shirt for program participants
