Aquatics Timer

Working with the McGaw YMCA Swim Team (MYST), the aquatics timer is responsible for starting their watches at the starter’s signal and stopping their watches when any part of the swimmer’s body touches the wall at the finish. The watch time is then recorded by the scribe on the entry card. If accuracy is your strength, this position is for you. Summer Learning Program Volunteer

The McGaw YMCA Summer Learning program, in partnership with District 65, is a six-week summer learning experience provided at no cost to students who qualify. This program is designed to help advance students’ academic achievement and social-emotional skills through a full-day summer experience that combines small group, rigorous literacy and math instruction, with hands-on enrichment activities including STEM, physical activity, art and field trips.
