We will be offering Virtual Echo Corps programming this winter for all high school students. Echo Corps focuses on team building, leadership skills and service. It is a great way to build connections and bring the camp spirit to these cold winter months!
Activities & Programming
Each week we will meet via Zoom to play games, have meaningful discussions, build relationships and have fun! Sample activities include: Trivia night, TAPS talk, virtual Olympics, Echo records, campfires and more!
Echo Corps will meet on via Zoom on Thursdays at 7pm. We typically wrap up around 8 or 8:30pm.
In an effort to make camp more accessible while also covering the costs of our operation, we have three options of pricing for Echo Corps. Every family is empowered to select the option that best works for their family at the time of registration. This selection does not impact how registrations are processed or any aspect of the experience.
Option A: $40 (Reflects most direct costs for the program)
Option B: $70 (Covers all direct costs and some administrative & infrastructure overhead)
Option C: $100 (Reflects the true cost of operating Echo Corps and maintaining our staff & facilities)
*If Option A is not affordable, there is additional fee assistance available. Any family who was previously awarded fee assistance for summer 2020 programs will be awarded fee assistance at the same percentage, based on Option C. If your family needs to set up a payment plan or further fee assistance, contact Sarah.
Final payment for Echo Corps is due no later than March 1, 2021.
You can sign your camper up using this Google form. Once you have completed the Google form, the Camp Echo team will send a confirmation email via CampInTouch within 3 business days.
Spring Echo Corps
We do plan to run additional Echo Corps programming starting in April. Our hope is that we may be able to offer a hybrid option for campers in the spring to include some outdoor and/or physically distant meetings at the McGaw YMCA in Evanston. There will be an additional registration in March once we are able to finalize our plans.
