More Information about Phase 3
During Phase 3, campers who are already enrolled in Summer 2021 can apply to add one or more programs by submitting another camper application through their CampInTouch account. Campers will also be able to add to waitlists for full programs.
Any camper can submit an application for additional programs during this time, with priority given to campers who were enrolled in two programs for Summer 2020.
We will not take friend requests into consideration for registrations during Phase 3.

2021 REGISTRATION FAQS

What if my camper has siblings who weren’t enrolled in 2020?
The initial phase of registration is only open to campers who were enrolled for Summer 2020 as of March 15, 2020. Siblings will be eligible to register during Phase 2 of registration.
What if my camper was on the wait list as of March 15?
Campers who are on the wait list are eligible for Phase 2 of registration (February 15 at NOON central – February 17 at NOON central)
How can I sign my camper up for horseback riding?
We are adjusting program offerings to our new health and safety precautions, and signing up for horseback riding at Camp Echo will not be part of the registration process this year. We will have a question on the application to gauge interest in horseback riding and will give families the option to sign up in March. We are hopeful that every camper will have an opportunity to have exposure to horses at camp and there will also be opportunities for our horse enthusiasts to spend additional time in the barn as well, at an additional fee.
What about layovers?
Due to our updated health and safety precautions as well as increased cleaning processes, we will not be offering layovers for campers to stay at camp between sessions in Summer 2021.
If our family plans on traveling during the summer, how will this impact any pre-camp health screening?
We will likely follow best practices regarding travel as outlined by the CDC. The short answer to this question is: based on what we know now, we recommend not traveling within two weeks of your session at camp.We do expect to have a pre-camp health screening that is likely to include a combination of quarantine and testing. This will be based on recommendations from the CDC, ACA, and State of Michigan. For further context, the McGaw Y also has a travel restriction where any individual who displays any symptom of an illness, or who has had exposure to COVID-19, or who has recently traveled to a hot spot may not attend programs within 14 days. Right now, almost every state qualifies as a hot spot by McGaw’s definition, and we don’t know if this will change by summer.
