Our School’s Out Break Camps provide a safe, enriching, and fun environment for kids to enjoy during Evanston/Skokie School District 65 breaks. Our break camps offer exciting activities, creative crafts, seasonal games, local field trips, opportunities to swim, and much more! It's the perfect way for your child to make the most of their break while making new friends and creating lasting memories.
School's Out Winter Break Camp (Grades K-5)
Experience winter wonder and fun at our School's Out Winter Break Camp! Kids will enjoy swimming, a field trip, STEAM activities, creative crafts, seasonal games, sports, and much more. Activities will vary by day and a detailed schedule will be provided at the time of registration. Breakfast, lunch and a snack will be provided daily. Register for all six days or select specific individual days that best suit your schedule.
Grades: Kindergarten - 5th
Dates: December 21-22, 28-31, 2026 (The Children's Center is closed on New Year's Day.)
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

School's Out Spring Break Camp (Grades K-5)
Springtime adventures await at our School's Out Spring Break Camp! We offer an exciting week of engaging STEAM activities, swimming, a field trip, sports, outdoor exploration, arts & crafts, and plenty of opportunities to have fun and make friends. Activities will vary by day and a detailed schedule will be provided at the time of registration. Breakfast, lunch and a snack will be provided daily.

Y MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT: Rates are discounted for McGaw Y members. To qualify for the member rate, membership must be active at the time of registration through the duration of the School's Out Break Camp. Pricing cannot be adjusted if you purchase a membership after registering. Eligible memberships include youth, teen, or family memberships. Adult memberships do not qualify youth for discounted member pricing for School's Out.
