SUMMER DAY CAMP

Summer Day Camp (Rising Grades 1-6)

At McGaw YMCA's Summer Day Camp, kids explore the outdoors, develop new skills, and build relationships that last a lifetime. Get ready for unforgettable experiences that include a variety of activities like field trips, swimming, archery, fishing, arts & crafts, sports, epic group games, fun team building activities, and STEAM-tacular adventures in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math, plus a whole lot more! Breakfast, lunch, and a snack will be provided daily.

Days/Times: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Program Location: McGaw Y Children's Center (more details to come)

Weekly Rate*:
Deposit: $25/week
Member Fee: $440/week
Non-Member Fee: $484/week

*Camp will be closed on June 19 and July 3. Weekly fees will reflect closures.

Registration Dates

JANUARY 6: Registration is open to all

Payment Due Dates

Summer Day Camp registration requires a $25 deposit per week per camper. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. This deposit is due immediately upon registration to hold a camper’s spot. Registration payments apply towards camp fees. If your child is offered a spot in camp from the waitlist, the regular deposit will be due immediately and/or full payment will be assigned if the due date has passed.

Full payment for each camp week must be received by the due date listed below. If registering for a camp week after the due date, full payment is due immediately. Campers will not be allowed to attend camp with a balance due. If registering for a camp after May 15, a late registration fee of an additional $25 per week will be charged.

  • WEEKS 1 & 2: April 3
  • WEEKS 3 & 4: April 17
  • WEEKS 5 & 6: May 1
  • WEEKS 7 & 8: May 15
  • WEEKS 9 & 10: May 29

PAPER FORM: To register by paper form, print the form and submit the completed form by email, by fax to 847-733-2562, or in-person to the Children’s Center at 1420 Maple Ave. in Evanston.
