Looking for a splash of fun and fitness this summer? Registration is now open for summer swim lessons and indoor summer sports programs designed to keep you and your family active and engaged. Summer Sports Session (June 1 – August 11): The Y offers an action-packed lineup of indoor sports programs in our Summer Session. Whether your little one is dribbling on the basketball court or dancing to the beat, there’s something for everyone. Choose from favorites like Parent/Child Sports of All Sorts, Parent/Child basketball, Tiny Tot options, and youth programs including basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and dance. McGaw YMCA Hosts Community Day with Camp Echo Fest

Free and open to the public, the Y’s Community Day on April 27 will feature activities for everyone including Camp Echo favorites. EVANSTON, IL – The McGaw YMCA is gearing up to host an exciting Community Day featuring Echo Fest on Saturday, April 27, from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. The event will take place at 1000 Grove Street in Evanston and is open to the public free of charge. Community Day is a great opportunity to explore the YMCA’s facilities and experience a range of activities for all ages. Adults can participate in group fitness demo classes led by our expert instructors, with options including Gentle Yoga, Hip-Hop Dance Fitness, and Muay Thai. McGaw YMCA announces YMCA Day of Giving to support programming for all. EVANSTON, IL – On May 1, the McGaw YMCA will host a YMCA Day of Giving, a one-day event designed to ensure the Y is available to all Evanstonians. The McGaw Y has set a goal of 100 donors to support the children and families in the Evanston community. “This Day of Giving is more than just a fundraising event; it’s a celebration of community spirit,” said Mark Metz, Chair of the Board of Directors at the McGaw YMCA. “We invite everyone to join us on May 1st as we come together to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors and nurture the roots of our community.” Thanks to a generous donor, gifts made to the McGaw YMCA on May 1 will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $30,000!
