The McGaw YMCA provides high-quality and affordable childcare programs in a nurturing environment. We follow guidance from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) so that your child is equipped with the essential skills for life-long learning. Our licensed childcare program is offered year-round, serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

We want to make sure that our high-quality childcare is affordable and accessible to everyone in our community. To make this possible, we provide fee assistance for all our programs, from early childhood tuition to day camp and summer learning scholarships. You can help us reach even more families by making a donation today – any amount makes a difference.
We encourage families to join the McGaw Y and take advantage of member discounts on all of our programs, including Children’s Center tuition and camp pricing. And, as members of the Y, you are expanding your support for our commitment to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We work to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Learn more about the benefits of a Y membership.
If you are a Northwestern University family, we are pleased to offer your child a free youth membership to the McGaw Y, allowing you to receive the member rate, which equals approximately a 10% discount on tuition. Additionally, thanks to our partnership with NU, we are able to offer affiliated families priority enrollment and access to NU scholarship funds.
