Human Resources Coordinator

Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator manages the daily administration of HR programs, projects, policies, and procedures. As a key member of the HR team, the HR Coordinator handles a wide range of responsibilities, from data entry to developing HR processes and procedures. The role emphasizes maintaining accurate HRIS employee records, benefits registration, compliance, and providing excellent employee customer service. The HR Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related inquiries.

Salary Range: $19.26 – $20.50 per hour

Department: Human Resources

Employment Type: Full-time Hourly – Non-Exempt

Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 35-40 hours per week

Experience/Education/Certification Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of HR experience or related experience /experience in HR non-profit preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Working understanding of human resources practices and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is critical to success
  • Excellent discretion and judgment when dealing with sensitive materials and confidential information
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task with a strong sense of urgency
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, customer focused environment and have the ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to relate to people across all levels and diverse backgrounds
