The Member Relations Specialist handles daily operations in the McGaw YMCA Member Relations department. This position reports to the Member Experience Director and is responsible for providing excellent customer service at all times as well as supporting data analysis, departmental projects and responsibilities as designated by the Member Experience Director. They will be the daily point of contact for members, determining their needs and offering solution-based resolutions. This role will act as a team lead to support part-time staff modeling a high level of customer service to Y members, program participants and guests. Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of the facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies as well as enforcing all facility rules and regulations. Salary Range: Starting at $15.00 Per Hour Department: Aquatics Employment Type: Part-time Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Sunday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Experience/Education/Certification Requirements: Must have American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate.  Must enforce policies, rules and regulations of the Aquatic Center. Must wear uniform, whistle, tube and appropriate rescue equipment while on duty. Must be able to position yourself to view the entire pool area easily. Pool must be scanned every 10 seconds and you must be able to respond to an emergency within 10 seconds. Responsible for rescue and emergency care of any accident victim in or around the pool. Responsible for all shifts assigned. Required to attend all in-service trainings. Respond
