Hours vary by facility location. Find our regular hours of operation by visiting the Locations and Hours section and clicking on the facility. Holiday hours can be found here as well.
McGaw Y members may park for free in the lots located on the West and South sides of the main building while using the facility. Members will receive a parking pass, valid for 6 months at a time. McGaw YMCA parking pass must be displayed in dashboard when parked in a YMCA parking lot. YMCA parking passes are available for members at the front desk. Free two-hour street parking is also available around the YMCA, as noted by signs.
Yes, our signature Kids Club drop-in service is available for FREE with McGaw Y Family Memberships (for up to two hours per day, while using the facility). Learn more about Kids Club.
Join the Y online, stop by the Member Services front desk in our main facility, or contact our team at 847-475-7400 and select option 1. You will need to pay for your first month and last month and joining fee. Fees will be drafted the first of each month from your bank account or credit card.
No, we do not impose contracts on our members. You're free to cancel membership at any time.

Yes, income-based financial assistance is available to help cover the cost of membership. We recommend giving us a call or visiting our Financial Assistance page to learn more. Staff will ask you to complete a confidential income acknowledgement form to get the process started.

No, we do not offer towel service.
Signing up for a Y membership includes a one-time joining fee and recurring monthly dues. On the day you join, you will pay the joining fee, the prorated first month and the last month of fees. Most members pay dues through a monthly bank draft via a checking account, savings account, debit card, or credit card. Fees are drafted on the first of the month for that calendar month. You can also pay for your membership on an annual basis.
As a member of the McGaw YMCA, you can easily access more than 2,600 Ys throughout the United States using a benefit called Nationwide Membership. Please contact the local Y you plan to visit to learn about their specific reciprocity benefits.
Yes! A guest is permitted to enjoy the Y three (3) times in a rolling 12-month period. Guests must be age 18+ and accompanied by a McGaw Y member age 18+ for the duration of their visit. Members may bring up to two (2) guests per visit. Guests are required to complete a guest form, waiver and take a photo. Please read complete details on our Facilities Policy page.

No. Not attending a class or program does not entitle a participant to a credit or a refund. When enrolled, the participant is reserving space, time, and staffing whether the participant attends the class or not.
Transfers after the start of the session can only be made upon approval from either the Program Director or Manager.
