McGaw YMCA Board Welcomes New Member

New board member Constance Wright was appointed at the February 13 Board Meeting.

EVANSTON, IL – The McGaw YMCA is excited to introduce a new member joining its Board of Directors, highlighting the Y’s dedication to embracing the diverse talent and voices of Evanston’s dynamic community.

Constance Wright, Esq., Assistant Dean of Academic Standing for Weinberg College at Northwestern University. Constance specializes in operationalizing policies and creating sustainable educational opportunities for underrepresented minority, first generation, and lower income student populations in college and professional programs. She is responsible for managing the College’s undergraduate standing and enrollment exception processes. Constance also develops student success initiatives designed to create equitable opportunities and outcomes for underrepresented undergraduate student populations. Constance has lecturer appointments at Loyola University School of Law and UIC School of Law. Most notably, she has worked with Minority Legal Education Resources, Inc since 2007 to help students excel in law school and pass bar examinations in Illinois and California. Constance has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from North Carolina State University, a Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School, and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago.
