Active Older Adults

AOA Balance & Fall Prevention. Every second of every day, an older adult suffers a fall in the U.S., making falls the leading cause of injury and injury death in this age group. Learn how to make your environment and life safer. Boost alignment, strength and flexibility, agility and dynamic balance. The goals of this class are not only to improve one's physical ability to balance but also to decrease one's fear of falling as well. Benefit from this small group setting focused on intentional, progressive results and daily life application.

AOA Strength. Use seated exercises to enhance strength and balance while increasing body awareness. Participants will use light weights and bodyweight to perform a variety of movements designed to target the whole body. Strengthen muscles, bones, and balance all while having fun in this accessible format.

AOA Chair Yoga. Chair yoga is for everyone at any age or state of fitness. Participants can modify their yoga practice based on health and mobility. The instructor will guide the class through seated poses on the chair as well as standing poses using the chair for balance and support. Strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, improve balance, and reduce stress in one class.

Define & Strength

Body Sculpting. Work your muscles in every way possible in this class designed to build strength, add definition, increase bone density and decrease body fat by increasing lean muscle! Use an assortment of equipment and a variety of class formats to keep your muscles guessing and growing!

Full Size Fitness. Fitness is for all sizes. Come to this full body workout to stretch, strengthen, and sweat. This class is designed for people with a BMI of 25 and above. You will learn how to modify exercises so that you can meet yourself where you are and feel good about what you can accomplish. Build a community with like-minded people who want to be healthy and counteract the stigma society regularly places on bigger bodies. Instructors will lead this class with knowledge, compassion, and an understanding of how to make the most of every workout while having fun.

HIIT Circuit. Come learn how to do the High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Circuit of the week, guided by one of our trainers. Challenge your body with our new equipment and enjoy a mix of cardio and strength training during this timed workout. These workouts are designed with efficiency in mind - burn the most calories, spike up your heart rate and get your muscles pumped - achieving the greatest results in the shortest amount of time.

LES MILLS BODYPUMPâ„¢. This class is a workout that challenges all major muscle groups, builds strength, and tones the entire body! Based on The Rep Effect, this proven formula exhausts muscles using light weights while performing high repetitions to develop lean, athletic muscle.

LES MILLS COREâ„¢. This class is a scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. Build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support the core, improve balance, and assist injury prevention.

Morning Power Up. Get a full body workout with toning and conditioning through a combination of free weight and bodyweight strength exercises, core, and cardio. Start the day feeling strong and ready to go!

Power Core and Stretch. Enjoy a mix of yoga, Pilates, and strength exercises while focusing on strengthening and stretching the core. Begin or end your own fitness routine with this 30-minute guided core session.

Total Body Conditioning. Awaken the inner athlete in this multi-level full-body workout blending cardio and resistance training before closing in deep stretching work. Challenge your body through a variety of circuit and interval formats for a higher intensity athletic training experience designed to boost energy, metabolism and results!

Flow

Athletic NIA. NIA blends dance, martial arts, and healing arts to create a dynamic fitness practice through easy-to-follow moves. A sensory-based practice for all fitness levels, NIA gets the heart pumping, body moving to fabulous music, and energy flowing in a way that leads to health, wellness, and fitness. Class incorporates additional aerobic intensity.

CIRCL Mobility™ by Zumba®: Unlock your body's potential with a full CIRCL wellness experience. Based on the science of functional movement, CIRCL Mobility focuses on flexibility, breathwork and mobility exercises. Release stress, restore your range of motion and renew your ability to move better, longer.

Cardio Yoga Flow. Cardio Yoga Flow is a yoga class that combines yoga moves with cardiovascular exercises. The workout takes classic yoga moves and makes them a bit faster, with a more rapid flow between sequences. The non-stop movement gets your heart beating and your muscles burning.

Gentle Yoga/Meditation. Connect the body and inner being with this intentional, powerful class. Explore each exercise in this class more slowly and deeply and end with a guided meditation. Recommended for people with injuries, severe stiffness, or those looking to approach yoga gradually. Props such as balls and yoga mats may be used.

Hatha Yoga. This yoga class integrates postures, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation to harmonize participants on every level – body, mind, and spirit. It is a delightful, mindful, and moving class. All levels are welcome.

Healing Yoga for Vitality. Experience the healing benefits of yoga through a series of simple exercises that focus on pain management and gentle increase of range of motion to your spine and joints. Calm your mind, reduce inflammation and relieve symptoms through gentle yet invigorating movement yielding strength and flexibility benefits for optimal overall health.

Kemetic Yoga. Originating in Egypt, Kemetic Yoga is a healing and regenerative practice characterized by a series of geometrically progressive postures that create alignment of the spinal column and correct defects in the skeletal muscular system. Within a gentle yet challenging flow, participants will relieve stress, increase blood circulation and rejuvenate the entire body and mind through physical movements combined with controlled deep breathing and meditation.

Meditation. Train your mind like you train your body for the perfect antidote to daily stress. Learn and practice centuries old meditation techniques to relax and increase your overall sense of well-being. Leave with greater clarity, stillness and inner peace.

Power Yoga. Experience this more challenging yoga practice where the focus is on building muscular and core strength as well as flexibility.

Sunrise Yoga. Rise and shine and awaken your body both physically and mentally with layered salutations that build into a peak sequence involving strength-building balancing poses. Let your body ease into the movement, as your mind leaves feeling refreshed and invigorated.

Tai Chi & Qigong. Tai Chi and Qigong combine in this mind-body class. Increase energy, improve balance and flexibility, and gain muscle strength.

Vinyasa Yoga Flow. Fill the soul in this Vinyasa Yoga class that flows gracefully and rhythmically from posture to posture using energizing, inspiring music. Focus on Asana (pose) exploration as the class integrates Pilates toning exercises for a full body experience.

Yoga Level 1. Beginners enjoy slow-paced direction and a great level of detail. Learn healthy alignment principles as you study a variety of different poses, explore gentle breathwork and practice meditation in an environment that supports the beginning student.

Yoga Level 2. Intermediate students who have comfort with basic yoga postures can grow in their practice by exploring a wider variety of poses and styles. A moderate flow and stronger poses increase flexibility, strength and stamina.

Yoga/Pilates Fusion. Combine the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of flowing yoga movements. Participants use bodyweight to perform a series of continuous, targeted moves to get the benefits of both yoga & Pilates.

Yoga Sculpt. Pump up your yoga practice with this total body workout designed to sculpt every major muscle group by combining yoga postures with cardio and weights.

Sweat

Cardio Kickboxing. Get a full-body workout with this high-energy class that features low-impact punches and kicks set to lively music. Participants strengthen core muscles and boost their heart rate. The class is suitable for all levels with no prior kickboxing experience necessary.

Hip-Hop Dance Fitness. For fans of old and new school, this fun and energetic class provides an aerobic workout through hip-hop dance. Sweat, tone and flex through creative dance movement, Pilates core work and stretching for this all-around fun and fit class.

Indoor Cycling. Our indoor Cycle classes simulate outdoor riding with sprinting, hill climbing and other techniques. Classes may include core work, too, to strengthen your abdomen and lower back. All levels are welcome, and workouts can be adapted to fit your goals and needs.

Step Aerobics. Make cardio fitness fun by combining an aerobic workout boosted with choreography and group motivation. With intensities ideal for everyone, step classes involve cardio conditioning on step benches and risers while performing choreographed routines to upbeat music. No experience necessary.

WERQ®. This fiercely fun dance fitness class is based on pop, rock, and hip-hop music taught by Certified Fitness Professionals.

Zumba®. This class takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style dance fitness party. This calorie-burning dance fitness class combines international rhythms like Salsa, Merengue, Samba, Axe, and more with easy-to-follow dance steps for a fun interval workout. No dance experience necessary, just follow the instructor. Ditch the workout. Join the party!

Water Fitness

Aqua Boot Camp. Are you looking for a challenging workout in the 6-Lane Pool? This new class is making waves with a dynamic interval routine combining cardio, strength and core exercises. Benefit from the resistive, low-impact properties of water while focusing on cardiovascular training, muscle toning, flexibility and coordination. Exercises are performed in water that is chest deep, and no swimming skills are needed to participate, making this the perfect cross-training option to add to your workout regimen.

Aqua Fit. A low- to moderate-intensity water workout for strength and endurance. Conducted in both shallow and deep water.
