Small Group Fitness programs are a great way to stay motivated while reaching your goals. These affordable program options combine the camaraderie of a small group setting with the expertise of highly-trained instructors.

Couch to 5K Learn-to-Run Program

Lace up your sneakers and awaken the runner in you! This coached group run will meet on Wednesdays for 7 weeks beginning on Wednesday, October 5. It will lead up to the Evanston Flying Turkey 5k on Thursday, November 24. Participants are encouraged to set the race as a goal, but all running aspirations are welcome in this friendly, progressive training program! Group size is limited to ensure individual attention and small group camaraderie.

Fit 30

Balance your routine, manage your time, and achieve your goals in this class built for triple effect. Move into Mondays with creative and conventional cardio. Flow into flexibility work with yoga and core on Wednesday. Finish the week strong on Fridays with upper and lower body exercises including kettlebells and TRX suspension training. Fit 30 will help you establish accountability, find community, and gain the benefits of consistent, progressive, well-rounded exercise.

Balance and Fall Prevention

This evidence-based, falls-prevention program helps older adults improve balance and increase confidence for everyday activities. The program is led by a trained instructor and focuses on improving functional ability to reduce fall-related risks and frequency for those with low to moderate risks of falls.

Women on Weights

When it comes to strength training, the goal is to work smarter and harder. Doing so not only saves time but also improves the efficiency and effectiveness of your workout while minimizing injuries. If you have ever wondered “I am doing this right?” or “How can I get more from my work out?” then this class is for you. You will learn proper form and technique of foundational movements as well as how to fuel and extend your workout through efficient breathing. You have committed to the time, now use it judiciously to reach a new level of strength, fitness and well-being.
