Healthy Weight Loss Program

If you're looking for a way to safely lose weight without gimmicks and restrictive approaches, the Y's Active8 Healthy Weight Loss is a great option. This group-based program that meets at the Y and taps a supportive network of others working on similar goals. Learn how to eat healthier, move more, and lose weight. Trained facilitators will guide participants through a program that includes weekly weigh-ins, weekly workouts and healthy living workshops, personal training, individual nutrition coaching, and the encouragement of teammates to share in the journey.

This program is in-person with virtual options.

Active8 Healthy Weight Loss Program Overview:

  • Eight-week session
  • Weekly group workout and healthy living workshop (in-person)
  • 4 x 45-minute personal training sessions (in-person or virtual)
  • 60-minute nutrition consultation (in-person or virtual)
  • 2 x 30-minute nutrition coach follow-up appointments (in-person or virtual)
  • Weekly healthy living challenges, tips, and resources
  • On-going group chat for accountability and instructor support
