Lap Swim Guidelines

We have established the following guidelines for reservations and participation in lap swimming in our pools.

Lap Swim Reservations (4- and 6-Lane Pool)

McGaw Y members age 14 and older can make Lap Swim reservations in McGaw Y MindBody up to seven (7) days in advance. Space is limited. When a timeslot is full, swimmers may register for the waitlist.

Reservations can be made for one (1) 30-minute swim, or for two (2) back-to-back reservations that equal one 60-minute swim.

The 6 Lane pool reservations will be open to two swimmers per lane.

The 4 Lane Pool reservations will be open to two swimmers per lane in Lanes 2 and 3 only, and open to one swimmer per lane in Lanes 1 and 4.

Swimmers must arrive no later than 5 minutes after scheduled reservation time, or the time slot may be given to a walk-in swimmer to enjoy.

Swimmers will enter their lanes on opposite sides of the pool and split the lane down the middle. Circle swim is available during posted times only.

Swimmers must exit the pool at the end of their swim reservation to allow the next swimmer to enter on time.

Members and guests are required to follow the YMCA Code of Conduct.

Report any issues directly to deck supervisor.
