Living in our lakefront community, water safety is an invaluable life skill. At the Y, we offer a wide selection of infant and parent/child classes to school-age and adult swim lessons. Our swim program teaches participants to become confident swimmers, developing strong techniques, water safety knowledge, and experience.
Our new 2021-22 Swim Lesson Session will run from September 16 – May 29. With our updated program format, you only need to register once. Continuous lessons will be offered until May 29. With more weeks offered during the year than previous session options, this leads to increased progress in the pool.
Payment Plan. Program fees for swim lessons will be charged on the 1st of every month, beginning October 1 and ending May 1. If you need to update your credit card information, please visit the “Payment and Order Management” section of your online account in our registration system.
Safety Protocols. Participants are expected to follow the Safety Protocols listed at the bottom of this page.
Evaluations. Swimmers will receive a certificate every two months, tracking the skills they are working on and have achieved. Swimmers will be promoted to a new level, based on skills and age, at these times.
Cancelation. Our 2021-22 Swim Lesson Session will end on May 29. Should you choose to withdraw your swimmer before May 29, a withdrawal fee will be applied. The fee will be equal to your monthly program fee.
