Basketball Skills Academy Volunteer

Youth in grades 6-8 take their skills to the next level and experience constructive competition in this interactive sports academy. Participants continue to build skills in dribbling, shooting, passing and learn basketball plays through fun drills. Teams are formed by YMCA staff. The focus in this program is on inclusion, teamwork, sportsmanship, and building confidence. We practice during the week and play games on the weekend. All teams are led by volunteer coaches.
